Higar Novias and Colonia de Fuente Palmera contribute to the manufacturing of protective masks

Given the shortage of protective masks in Spain due to COVID-19, Higar Novias joins the initiative to manufacture this necessary protection material for our health professionals and/or for workers and groups that need to protect themselves from this aggressive virus , to whom they will be delivered.

This project has been coordinated by the City Council of Fuente Palmera and the Association of Entrepreneurs of La Colonia de Fuente Palmera. Other companies and associations in the town also take part in this initiative.

The objective is to produce more than 20,000 masks with the material that we have in stock at the moment, although we expect to get more of it in the coming days. Different neighborhoods and dressmaking workshops of La Colonia de Fuente Palmera, Higar Novias among them, will participate in the production. It is estimated that our country will need around 50 million masks to face COVID-19.

The initiative has been able to go ahead, among other things, thanks to the fabric that Tapizados Zen has provided, a company to whom we are very grateful.

Other towns in the province of Cordoba have also joined this movement, because in these moments of so much anguish and pressure for all, we must all navigate in the same direction, contributing with our work, that is something we know how to do best.

In the end … together we will succeed!
