After a long courtship, our newly-married couple Mª Ángeles and Manuel decided to say “yes, I do” in 2020, after an unforgettable marriage proposal inside a cave, situated in a cove in Mallorca.
However, due to circumstances beyond their control, such as the pandemic, they had to postpone their wedding, like so many other lovers.
For them 2020 was a difficult year because, in addition, a very close relative suffered a serious health problem. The happiness and enthusiasm put into the preparations for their wedding gave way to fear and uncertainty. However, luckily, everything was overcome and on July 24th they’ve celebrated their beautiful wedding, surrounded by their family and friends.
Mª Ángeles, the bride, visited us at our Fuente Palmera store with her closest relatives, her mother, father and sister, with whom she feels more secure, because they are the ones who know her best.
She was advised by our team who, after discovering her tastes, offered her the wedding dresses that best suited her personality. “I let myself be advised. I fell in love with Valerio Luna’s Capricho model. From the moment I put it on, I knew it was my wedding dress ”, Mª Ángeles tells us.
The Capricho model is a wedding dress with mermaid line and marked waist, in which our bride looks radiant. The mixture of crepe and lace culminates in a long-sleeved bohemian-style wedding dress with lace inserts, which she wanted to shorten, to leave elegant French sleeves. What Mª Ángeles likes the most, is its marked neckline on the back, adorned with chiffon falls. A design by Valerio Luna that made her feel like a unique bride.
At the Hacienda Galindo de Zafra, in a wonderful garden on a splendid summer day, Mª Ángeles and Manuel sealed that love, in a celebration full of emotion. With great feeling, she confesses that “I was especially excited that my grandmother accompanied me on that important day.”
Each couple puts all their energy and enthusiasm in organizing a unique wedding, especially in times of pandemic, when every detail is lived more intensely. More intimate weddings, in which the guests are another protagonist, feel comfortable and enjoy as much as the bride and the groom. These are the reasons why each wedding in these times is lived in a special way. Each moment of the wedding, surrounded by the most beloved people, is valued above everything else, as happened to Mª Ángeles and Manuel.
