After an intense search for her wedding dress, during which no design had just made her fall in love with, Rocío arrived at our Fuente Palmera store, where all that changed.
She allowed herself to be helped by our professionals and as she tells us, “I let myself be advised at all times. Beatriz was my angel. She captivated me at once and was capable, without knowing me, to express and reflect my personality with my dress”.
Rocío had tried on many dresses in other stores, but none of them felt like it was hers, until she tried on Manu García’s Oslo model, with which she fell in love with because of its beautiful back. “Beatriz, a true wonder of a woman, she suggested that I change the sleeves and replace the crepe with plumeti tulle, a great success!”.
Rocío looked radiant in her straight-cut wedding dress and its crystal shoulder pads to match the ending of the neckline at the back, to which she made several modifications. She chose a V-neckline and eliminated the slit and the cape with straps. “When I went to the first fitting, I felt a lot of emotion and peace. Because when I made my choice of the dress, I couldn’t see it, it was only the basis of Oslo, and from there we were deciding the changes”.
To complete her bridal look, our bride have chosen elegant earrings and a delicate tiara from our collections.
She was so happy with the treatment she received, that she has infected her family. Thus, her mother chose an elegant green cocktail dress and matching headpiece, and her father, the best man, a vest, tie and cufflinks.
Rocío & David have been one of those many couples who had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic, but their love, their enthusiasm and their confidence in themselves made them say “yes, I do” on June 13.
A splendid day, which they lived intensely from the very first moment. “It sounds like a cliché, but it was a wonderful day. That day the blue of the sky was spectacular, from that precise moment I knew that I had to enjoy every second of it to the maximum. So everything, from the moment I started to fix myself, I felt it fully, with my five senses ”, Rocío recalls.
The bride, overflowed with happiness, arrived to the church in a horse-drawn carriage, entered on the arm of her father, and “seeing all my people excited and full of enthusiasm, I couldn’t help but be infected.” Her groom, David, very handsome and nervous, was waiting by the altar, and when she saw him she felt that tingling of the first times.
“When we finished and went to the celebration, it was already an overflow of happiness and enjoyment … we danced, laughed and got excited,” adds the bride. And there is nothing to hope for that special day to arrive, that you have dreamed of so much and that you have organized with such enthusiasm, saving obstacles and complicated unforeseen events.
She confesses that “now, I just want to relive all those feelings over and over again”, because together they have been building the trust that, at the beginning of their relationship, they lacked, due to previous experiences. The culmination of their movie-like love story has been an exciting wedding, full of great moments.
