The wedding date is coming soon and we have to start thinking about what outfit we wear. The most important thing is to look elegant, no matter how important the wedding is.
It is true that elegance is something inner to the person, like the way of walking or talking. Today, we are going to share with you some tricks for being an elegant guest.
Let´s start with the dress. We need to find the perfect dress; a dress that fits us perfectly well. But this doesn´t mean it has to be tight; it has to be nice on us. So, we have to know our figure very well. Remember that the colour is also very important; some colours will be more fetching than others. And wearing one or another depends on the season or also if the wed is during the morning or in the afternoon.
Once we have the perfect dress, we have to know that if it is a short dress we need to wear tights. The tights’ colour depends on our skin tone. We have to be careful with that and never forget to wear tights in a wedding.
Our followers already know that we always recommend to wear plain mono colour accessories when the dress is made with a printed fabric.
We also have to be careful with jewellery. Sometimes it is better to use only bright and simple earrings. The type of dress or type of neckline make us choose between long or short earrings or long or short necklaces.
It is the mind-set “less is more”.
When we are doing our make-up, we have to adapt it to our skin tone for getting a natural finish. If the wed is in the afternoon, you can over do your eyes if you want to. In this case, we use a light colour for the lips.
We like to wear high heels when we assist to a wedding, but we have to be sure of choosing the heels we are going to feel comfortable with. It is better to wear shorter heels and feel comfy.
Choose a hairdo that matches your age. Headpieces, pamela hats and canotiers are only for morning weddings.
